Welcome.

The first idea of a name for this design was 'Life on Mars'. I wanted to use something non-Earth because of the strange plant on the lamp. However, I watch NASA's Curiosity rover and so far haven't seen much of an excitement on Mars. For me, Mars didn't reflect the elegant look of this work and I wanted to associate this lamp with something nice and attractive. That where Venus came into the equation. Life on Venus is an outcome of drilling, acrylic and varnishing processes. She is strange, weird and unusual. If you are looking for something different and eye-catching lamp or a decorative object for your home, you may choose Life on Venus.

Like all my lamps, Life on Venus is a cool handmade gift idea which you can consider for someone special. I can comfortably recommend this design for birthday, anniversary, housewarming, mother's day and I am sure that you will receive a massive thank you and be remembered every single time the lamp is turned on.

Please note that this product is lampshade only. There is a large hole underneath the lampshade. (Please see photos). The lampshade will sit on any light source easily. There is a base option with complete on/off switch, cabling and power socket.
